Sweden is a unique country - rich in traditions, beautiful craftsmanship and with a magnificent flora and fauna. Through the Made in Sweden collection, we pay tribute to these treasures and make them accessible - they are our heritage, our roots, and our future. Let us show you the beauty we see in them.
This collection, consists of two prints that illustrate the fantastic handicraft called Dalsömmar.
Rich in decorations and intricate stitchery, our Swedish folk costumes boast a long tradition. The women who embroidered and weaved these costumes were creative and resourceful, developing different techniques to differentiate one parish from the next. This allows us to determine the origins of a specific folk costume by looking at its embroidery. The different embroidery patterns were often given names based on the parish they came from and where they were most commonly used.

A sustainable product
Creating an environmentally friendly and premium product was an obvious choice for us from the start.
Kunskapstavlan® is therefore produced on eco friendly matte premium paper that is age-resistant and certified with the EU Ecolabel and the FSC forest management certification. All the prints are signed with our hand-embossed seal making each one unique. Manufacturing is located in Sweden at a Nordic Swan Ecolabeled printing company.
